Forrest! I've been a lurker for a while, watching you and Mike bowl, I can't help but say I'm a superfan and I look up to you very much. Your bowling skill is top tier and I know you're just going to keep improving. It's awesome to see you make it so far and I know one day you are going to meet your goal and start winning titles like crazy. Please just be thankful you are still able to bowl regionals. With my work and family and wife not being supportive I'm barely get out to the lanes maybe three or four times a year. But I plan on bowling 1 year full time or regional and maybe national tour when I turn 50. You are so smooth and your release is so good. You will get there. Love watching your videos

Congrats on getting that far. If you are taking the next step in your mental game, I would suggest watching your body language during your games. I see confidence and effortlessness on your good games and overthinking and frustration on the ones that are tough. You said it yourself, some pairs are good, some are bad, what can you do? Maybe watching back can allow you to get an idea of what you are thinking during the game since it's normal to be locked in and go autopilot. Sending you great energy to get a title, it's an awesome goal and the mental work will be a big part of what gets you there.

You do something in your game I'm trying to correct in my game. You have a lot of forward body tilt early during your push away. This means that you have to fight to get your head back over the sliding knee for the best flat spot and leverage. I so wish that I had your release. That is so sweet. Keep working hard and you will get that title. Best of luck. Something I just noticed watching again. Your heel actually comes off the ground at the end of your slide. Maybe from trying to throw harder? Is your body tilt to far ahead of the knee? It could be nothing to worry about but maybe have a coach look at that.

You actually look really good on the lanes. Great form and timing. Your mechanics look the best I have seen them. Only criticism is an intermittent tendency to pull the ball left on spares. I really didn't like your ball choices in finals though. It seemed like all those balls were way too strong and early and as a result required you to be too exact to strike. It almost looked like what you see when you try using strong urethane on a house shot. Something cleaner and more responsive my have given you more margin and better hit. But, you were there, not me. Still a great showing.
