More common than you’d think. In Japan, I saw a Toyota Century in the McD’s drive thru, the owner definitely in the back seat as his chauffeur drove. For reference, the Toyota Century isn’t really meant to be driven so much as driven around in, offered with bullet proofing as you often have CEOs, politicians, or even the descendants of the Shinto sun god in the back seat of those things. There are plenty of places that have a drive through that folks who eat at McDonald's and Popeyes would never fathom spending money on. There are some towns and even some cities that don't have high end businesses with drive throughs because of land constraints (like Manhattan) and because of income levels. You'll find plenty of places in high income areas in California with drive thoughs for example. Rich and famous people aren't trying to park their car and walk into a restaurant most of the time, nor is the person who is hired to get their food. It often literally isn't safe for them to do so. Also in these high income areas, many workers travel from further away for work from lower income areas. They're typically in a rush, so you'll see drive through a on businesses that typically never have a drive through in other states.

It’s not really hard to reproduce the key if you can get the person with the key to walk into a close proximity to you even like 20 feet with the right equipment you can pretty much reproduce a fake RFID tag that, to the car will look like a key
