Once the ES gets AWD (later this year???) it will be unbeatable! Fun fact - ES in Japan and Europe will have heated and reclining rear seats with climate control...no big deal!
@haydarabdullah_eng4 жыл бұрын
In the Middle East also it will be equipped with more features because in the US when the price point reaches 60k or more the market will prefer the German rivals like 5 series, E class and A6. Lexus know that. For example, in Iraq when I’m living For each BMW X5 Lexus selling 27 Lx570 which are 95+ K vehicles and people are willing to spend more many on the Japanese brands. A 2013 Toyota Camry with base options may worth 20k after 100,000 mileage if it is clean which is insane knowing that a brand new one will cost 27,000. The depreciation is about 1000 to 1300 USD only per year which is unbelievable.

17.4 gallons X (regular/non premium gas price) for me it would be 17.4 X $2.61= $45.41. Does that help?
@RetroEliteGaming3 жыл бұрын
This has a 13.2 full tank size which uses regular gas … at current prices 2.99 X let’s say 12 gallons cause must people don’t run it all the way down to E .. = 35.88 and that gets you about 430-500 miles of range depending on how aggressive you drive. Just got a 2019 300h and I love it !! Has everything I need in it. Drove over 2 hours back from the dealership and averaged 52 miles per gallon back to my house lol mostly freeway.

Is efficiency a luxury considering most 2L diesel cars can get similar mileage and better performance....... and in the UK at least there is no other engine options. Also now the competitors are offering PHEW options which can get even better mileage and much better performance, Lexus is really left hanging now. It terms of driving refine, it's negligible between the Germans and Lexus, they all come with so much acoustic glazing and sound proofing and much better transmissions. I'm finding it really hard to justify so much money except for reliability, it's in a class of its own.

@forrestsautoreviewsofficial4 жыл бұрын
I understand your point. However, in this case, FWD doesn't matter. Most people will NEVER drive this hard enough to highlight the fact that it is FWD. Heck, most people will not even realize whether their car is FWD, RWD, or AWD. The Audi A4, A5 is a different vehicle. You pay around the same money but for a sportier experience. The Audi has better tech but a way less comfortable ride and way less efficient. That person would never consider this because this is aimed 100% at luxury, comfort, and MPG without the slightest hint of being sporty. Different strokes for different folks. I do love me some Audi though! Should be filming the new RSQ8 and RS6 soon! :)
@CarsofGlasgow4 жыл бұрын
Base A4 and A5 cars are FWD and won't last as long in terms of reliability. Plus there is no hybrid option yet for those models :)
@DJL784 жыл бұрын
CarsofGlasgow I lease most of my cars, I don’t keep them longer than 3 years. I also live in the north east USA. AWD is a necessity and wouldn’t consider a car at that price point without it. Also my 2018 A4 has had flawless reliability. I’ve driven the exact car Forrest reviewed here. The infotainment system alone is a reason Id pass on it. And the Levinson audio has a terrible drone to the bass whereas my A4’s B&O system is glorious.
@1enigma2484 жыл бұрын
@@CarsofGlasgow Fully agree. The Audi's are nice cars as long as they don't break down, which will happen often! The quality of Lexus, not the perceived quality, is in a different universe when compared to Audi.
