i just started playing the game, how exactly do you get skins?

firstly, go to the shop located on the left side of your screen. secondly, click the survivor/killer you want to get a skin for. thirdly, click the hat icon below their portrait. finaly frouthly, click on the skin you want to purchase and buy it!!!!! (some skins are badge exclusives like the two ultrakill related ones and the builderman engineer one)
