Fun traversal is the key when it comes to games like this. I spent dozens of hours just going through the city in Spider-Man and inFamous: Second Son because it was so fun.

I’m not entirely sure. Great traversal is cool and all, but traversal does nothing for the game if it doesn’t come with a really fun gameplay. I think Second Son suffered because of that. While Spider-Man shines even more for having both

One thing I don't like about parkour in games is the stop and go momentum. Like here when she does little leaps, it's a burst of speed and then a powerful slowdown once the magic is over. It feels like an interruption, and I don't really like it.

Ok devs listen. Traversal should NEVER cost stamina/bar meter in a action game. That only ruins traversal. We've had games like InFamous, Prototype, Bayonetta, Hulk ultimate destruction, spiderman 2 etc that doesn't use traversal at a cost. Special attacks are the only moves that should use stamina/meter.
