Finally I get to try out this game! TLDW: I'm loving the game way more than expected the dislogue everyone finds cringey I find it really fitting for the characters and storytelling. Feels very natural! Stream died out so go to Part 2 for more!

Took me a bit to figure out why this game felt so familiar to me but I did, it reminded me of the inFamous games, while Frey's combat stance and initial powers are more like Cole's her attitude and parts of the story, are similar to the third game: street tough character with a chip on their shoulder who is in trouble with the law gets powers and has to save the world...well another world, the magical movement system is similar to the neon powers from the third game as well, although this game has some more RPG elements and the open world sets the franchises apart. Frey's desperation to get back to earth is slightly confusing as there doesn't feel like a strong reason for her to go back, she's just lost almost everything, her plans are literally up in smoke and she's even gotten her cat sorted so what's her motivation? If there was a chance the cash had been safe and she needed to get back to it or if the cat hand been injured and needed vet bills to be paid I could understand her rushing back to earth but they even showed her wanting a new start so it feels odd that she's be desperate to get away from this opportunity.

I saw the description and I agree Now that you finished HiFi Rush, I will say a lot of people compared the dialogue of HiFi Rush to Forspoken and why forspoken is bad. I was about to join the bandwagon of disliking the dialogue until I heard it myself. Its not bad at all, sure in her context it might be a little off, but I like it 😂 It's not for everyone perhaps, but it's something I can appreciate Edit: I was tearing up as well, I hope we will meet homer again soon

I too would blatantly insult the magical object that gives me my awesome powers and is also trying to help me understand this unfamiliar world I now found myself stranded in.

@@ventusthekey5187 Except it isn’t really a smart thing to do. That magical object that talks to you and gives you magical powers is your only source of information about this world. Blatantly insulting it, regardless of circumstances, is not a good idea. Imagine that it could just stop giving you powers and decide not to talk to you anymore. Congratulations! You are now trapped in an unfamiliar world filled with vicious creatures and other magically powered beings with no way to defend yourself. All because you pissed off the bracelet that was trying to help you.

Of all the games to play..... Whelp, I already couldn't deal with that annoying Justin Roiland game, but this manages to beat even that ^^

looks way better than people were making it out to be. it's kind of very expensive, but i'll definitely get it eventually. thanks for the gameplay :]

Game is overhated as hell. As someone who actually played it, it's actually a great experience. It's not perfect, like some scenes felt off, but the story, soundtrack, and gameplay is actually quite good.
