A sapphic royal/guard romance. Princess Ellora has some reservations about inheriting the throne. Her reservations are often quelled by her guard, Brynn, who promises to support her through even the toughest times. After Ellora's betrothal becomes imminent, the girls must decide if their feelings for one another are to be acted upon before it's too late, or extinguished.

This was phenomenal. It is possibly one of the best short films I've ever seen. Not just the cinematography and the acting (both of which were ace) but the script! I'm struggling to find the words to express how amazing the writing is. The ability to give just enough information to hint at the background, current situation and any number of possibilities for the future, for two characters and in SEVEN minutes is mind-blowing to me. You absolutely should be writing novels and making feature-length movies.

I LOVE the royal/guard romance trope so much! The dialogue is witty and fun, the vibes are romantic sparks for the fire that is this short film. Nothing like ale in the tavern to unearth true feelings and forge bonds between wayward souls. I remember watching your Maximum Ride films as a kid. It's amazing how far you've come since then. I could watch a whole series of this sort of vibe. A delightful nibble that leaves me starving for more
