It's Jacque not Jack. (je-ack) Fort Boyard was created by Frenchman Jacque Antoine and was called Les Clés de Fort Boyard but brought over to England. They called the dwarf Jacque to pay homage to the original creator.. not much of a glorious moment when the name's wrong XD

I was a young teen when this was on. Had all I could need, cool tasks, tigers, a real fort, riddles and the beautiful Melinda Messanger (later Linda Hamilton took over I think) as host.

If you mean Ultimate Challenge, then they did have the tigers, only in Series 4 & 5. In addition, I think it was mediocre. The music & challenge names weren't that great, but the challenges were still good.
