I think maybe having some sort of shuttle from Port of Spain. And having brochures available so that visitors can get more in-depth info when touring. Perhaps one is already provided. I haven't been there in quite some time. Additionally, some on site security would be great.

Visited this place in 1998 as a kid on a family trip to Trinidad. I'm sure its changed lots since that time, but just as beautiful as I remember. Nice memories

@@JBsManCave IT does mostly look the same. The main attraction of course is the beautiful views etc. so that hasn't changed. I don't remember there being bathrooms facilities 25 years ago, although I could be wrong, as I was so young there is lots I don't remember or was simply not paying attention to.

For me it is relatively safe. Like anything else plan your trip with precautions and in groups if possible.

Fort George is going through a huge upgrade right now.

@@JBsManCave They are building a new structure I think it's going to be a restart. The main building is also being restored. I went up there recently after about 5 years and was shocked.

@@JBsManCave I enjoyed it tremendously! I had never been to Fort George in Trinidad. I could actually see the shape of the island from the video. My daughter and I along with my sister watched. We live in different parts of the world. Great Job!

JB thanks for full tour of Fort George here. You were most thorough indeed and really bring back good memories. Kudos to the respective authorities for the landscaping work and preservation efforts over the years. However, there are obvious room for improvements, such as maintenance of the picnic tables and benches with proper signs for the washrooms. This has always been one if not my favourite visiting spot in Trinidad! Glad to see that it has withstood the test of time over the years so far. Not very busy day but then again, USA Special Travel Advisory in effect, so not surprised how quiet it is when you visited! Keep safe breda....one way up, one way down to St.James!
