My family escaped from Vietnam when Saigon fell. My great grandpa was a Captain in the South Vietnamese Navy. He was killed by communists after Saigon fell. My grandpa, who is still alive, was a Captain in the South Vietnamese Army. Hands up for the Vietnamese who have a Vietnamese born US army general. Finally, maybe the US army will fight better if ever in proper war. Due to them having a Vietnamese general who can teach them a few good things about guerrilla tactics and warfare due to the country Vietnam mainly having guerrilla warfare and attacks. So in future if the US army ever goes against an uprising in Vietnam again or some other country like Burma who are very skilled in Guerrilla warfare the US army will have a few tactics up their sleeves as well. Such a shame though, I am from Britain and we don't have such multicultural army general leaders, so far in history all of our generals have been British and white men. So I hope that Britain opens it's eyes and becomes more multicultural in warfare and due to army positions.

MW3 ModzZ with different race generals doesn’t mean they know what that enemy can do.This is how America lost the war in Vietnam and Afghanistan.Trying to predict their capabilities and moves without thinking what’s their main goal or how many are there.Vietnam and Burma is a heavily forest country and the US military isn’t prepared.The Burmese are still fighting their own civil war
@tocu98084 жыл бұрын
@@laststandinstalingrad5162 - Why do people think it's hard to fight against guerillas ? It's because they are scared of killing and devastating. Guerillas are cowards, always hide among the people, take cover in jungles, countryside, their only tactic is terrorizing. Just bomb the hell out of them all, burn down, kill anything that moving indiscriminately, just what the Russians did in Grosnyi and are doing now in Syria. BTW, Vietcong guerillas in Vietnam were scared the shit out of encountering South Korean troops, and always avoided battles with them as much as they could. Maybe South Koreans know a few things about effective anti guerillas warfare tactics.
@laststandinstalingrad51624 жыл бұрын
To Cu guerrilla warfare is a hard thing to fight, have you been in cases where you are ambushed? Guerrilla warfare proves to fight a force that isn’t able to be fought in a direct conflict. So fighting Guerrilla warfare does hinder military forces, do you call the resistance forces of WW2 cowards? They fought in guerrilla warfare style. While they did kill people indiscriminately in Grozny but both sides did their fair share of war crimes, while in Syria it’s a more complex. While Vietcongs were guerrilla fighters, they did feared the battle harden South Koreans since many tactics were almost identical to the Chinese during the beginning phases of the Chinese intervention in Korea.

LOL! Bradley Fighting Tank!?!? The Bradley is an Infantry Fighting Vehicle [IFV] NOT a tank! Per the 1990 Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe, an IFV is defined as "...an armored combat vehicle which is designed and equipped primarily to transport a combat infantry squad into combat...". A tank is an armored fighting vehicle designed for front-line combat, with heavy firepower, strong armor, tracks and a powerful engine providing good battlefield maneuverability. Jesus Christ. He is an American and a soldier like everyone else, and everyone like him, no greater or lesser than anyone doing the same. But what the hell are you threatened for, huh? This doesnt threaten "racism against whites" nor does it cause "non white special treatment," his upbringing and life is simply different than others, and shares it with a small proportion of the population. Telling people who come to this country of different backgrounds and their descendants, and every other American they can strive for the greatest things and that it is not limited to their race, is NOT something that threatens other Americans. Some white America s whine about not having a strong enough "white culture," what do you have to say about that? Some say it is bad whites will become an ethnic minority(Ok buddy dont hold your breath), others say America is multiracial but not multicultural, and others like you prefer to be "colorblind," and there are those who recognize people of different races can be every bit as American and patriotic as each other, but there can still be more to them than that, people are different.

President John Fitzgerald Kennedy use to refer to himself as an Irish American, a reminder to all Americans that we have all immigrated here from some where in the world. The message was that ALL AMERICANS share multiple ancestries, one of ancestral origins, the other our American heritage. Recently (4 May 2021) I heard a young Afghan girl who immigrated here make the comment that "God didn't create this country, but it's citizens did." The right to believe any religion or not to believe, to speak about anything regardless of popularity, redress the government when getting screwed by it, to form demonstrations for whatever invokes our feelings, and to be informed by a free press, is an inherent right of all Americans and thus became the first amendment to our constitution. There's not a damn thing wrong with being Vietnamese-American, Japanese American, Irish-American, Italian-American, etc... I believe it was James Donovan who once said "What makes us all Americans is that we all agreed to play by one set of rules, we call it the Constitution." Even though America has never had a fairy tale history due to the flaws of human beings, the most important question is whether or not it is moving closer to the ideas of it's Declaration of Independence (All men are created equal) and upholding the Constitution (WE THE PEOPLE...). THINK ABOUT IT, if an extraterrestrial Alien came to the United States, became a naturalized citizen, and raised a family, even his/her/its children, born US citizens could become president of the United States. The Alien however, being a naturalized citizen could still become Governor of California (go ask former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger). That's how fucking great this country is. -----------------Clifton (English) Hideshi (Japanese) Murphy (Irish), from the United States Navy
