So much fun Cliff!! Just an amazing event. I still think you should get some period clothing & do reenactments. Hoping you will take us along. I had fresh coffee while watching this could of given you some for your shortbread. It looked so good. Plus your little cakes & that homemade bread. Oh my how yummy! Sweet of you to take a treat for your Mom. I know she enjoyed. Thanks this was so interesting & such a great time❣🥰

Love this. Love Bagpipes, and the crafts. Yea money to buy is a problem. That's a beautiful spot to have a lunch in. Your famous, so glad you are being recognized. Linen might be ok to wear, buckskin would be hot. A real Randevous. Thank you Cliff.

This is awesome! I'm glad you came and check out the Reenactment. I fish at the Creek behind the fort. There is a ton of rich history in the area. Just over the mountain passed Cowans Gap is a town called Burnt Cabins. The town got its name from the early settlers burning the Cabins settled there to keep peace with the Indians.

I thoroughly enjoyed that. When I lived in York county on a farm from 1986 until 2001, I thoroughly always enjoyed going to Steam- O- Rama in October. Thank you Cliff. Loved watching everything you showed us.

Met my hubby at Cowan’s Gap State Park nearby. He was from Mercersburg. Beautiful country! Have you ever been privileged to see Charlie Smithgall’s cannon collection in Lancaster? He used to provide them for the 4th of July concerts at Long’s Park for the 1812 Overture

You are 8n my daughters neck of the woods. Her husband's grandma lives in Fort Loudon in the mountains. So beautiful and lots to explore in the area. Her hubby's parents live in the mountains in St Thomas. They live near the Letterkenny Army depot. A beautiful area to. I love going out there for the day do much to see in do, Downtown Chambersburg is like Lebanon used to be. It's like going back in time. People are friendly. I'm glad you enjoyed the area. Beware they drive like crazy people in Chambersburg. Lol. The farmland and orchards are beautiful to.

While it's more fun immersing yourself by wearing period clothing and developing an impression, you may appear a bit "out of place" carrying and using any modern equipment while in garb. A clash of periods you might say. You may want to spend a day in garb without the tech and another day in modern attire with.
