I wish I had known about this. I live just about 90 minutes from Fort Loudoun and would have been there had I known of it. I have been studying my 4th and 5th great grandfather's parts in the French and Indian (and Lord Dunmore's War) in the Ohio Valley. Perhaps next year I can make it.

I was born and raised and I am proud to still live in Fort Loudon. As a young man I assisted with lifting the first log as the stockade was being rebuilt. I appreciate the video as you represented our town very well!

I really like these videos of events and camps. I get some great ideas for improving the look of my camp. I pause the video a lot to take in all the outfits and camp gear and furnishings. Of course the vendors are all great. I could spend a lot more time in each tent and for that I have the pause button. Thanks for another great video.

If you ever get to NC, iredell county, check out Ft. Dobbs. French Indian war era. Excellent interpretive center there, main building has recently been completed. A very amazing piece of history.

I love the heritage of my Pennsyltucky. I have to get to this event next year. Have heard a few stories about parts of the family involved in some PA/MD land feuding, before two surveyors came along to mark the state line...... Mason and Dixon. Maybe I need to record a lot more of the history here.

They hold a flint "knap in" at Fort Sibley near Kansas City MO. The fort was reconstructed in the 1960's to replicate the one constructed about the time of the Lewis and Clark Expedition of Discovery. Normally it has been held in the fall of the year. For more information contact the Jackson County Missouri Parks Dept.

Could you post a link for the Organization that puts out a News Letter or Magazine that covers these type's of events Nation Wide . From what i read in the comments more people would Attend these events if they knew about them in advance . I know the N.M.L.R.A. POSTS some events but not all.
