Relocating to fort Myers next week I’m excited. I’m an engineer so I know things will be different for me but I definitely grew up in the struggle in Philly I’m just glad I was able to make it out. I always appreciate you show the real side of these places your videos helped me make the decision on accepting the position. Thanks Jose!

I'm from Doylestown, which is right outside of Philly. I'm looking into Fort Myers as well. I can't wait to get out of PA.

@@jonathan6480 well I been here 4 months now finally feels a bit more comfortable where I live there a lot of people from PA and NJ so it was nice to have some people to relate to. Also there’s a bunch of wawas down here now so it reminds me a bit of home. So far so good tho once you get used to the daily rain. I love being minutes from the beaches or a drive a way from theme parks. The job market isn’t so great so make sure you secure work before the move. Also they rate of pay is less then PA but since there’s no state income tax it works out. Hopefully this helps from one Philly boy to another lol

@@jonathan6480 nah it’s not as hectic as Miami but there’s a lot of road work going on so there’s a good amount of traffic. Naples is beautiful. Bonita,Estero are both very beautiful as well if you can find a place in any of those places you’ll be golden. You’re about an hour-2hrs from most other cities too so it’s good space to be. Sarasota is about an hour, Miami 2hrs,Tampa 2hrs,Orlando 2hrs so it’s pretty easy to go where you want.

Yes, Naples Beach is way better than Ft. Myers Beach and the vibes is chill too. Too bad Naples is unaffordable to live. Is it better to live in Estero or Bonita if working in Naples? Thank you for doing a comparison video.

Worse part for me living in Florida with even a home that was paid cash no mortgage, is that utility bills are higher than most states. Also if you want to live in a nicer area good chance you’re paying an HOA fee every month which is still thousands a year. Also property taxes are high - another few thousand a year. Overall too damn unnecessarily expensive..

@E-ticket If you ride, you wanna end up near "Greenbriar" In Lehigh Acres. Anything off sunshine North of 17th. east of Higgins and really anywhere very remote in Lehigh. You USED to be able to ride in Golden Gate Estates but all the rich people have ruined that. lehigh acres has "lazy springs" thats a ATV park. there is also "redneck mud park" north of us. So anywhere in that area would work,.. stay to more remote parts. Yucca pen in Cape Coral i think they just shut that down. so its bascially, east of Punta Gorda or Lehigh Acres specially the northern rural parts. I dont know if you could get away with it in naples anymore tho.
