A good initiative. Decades ago when we were posted at Sindhudurg, Terekhol was a quick getaway. The Terekhol fort had nothing to boast of. Glad they built it. Yes, it is Goa, not Maharashtra! One must get facts right...

We stayed at the Fort back in 2012 -- then it was under renovation -- around the month of Feb-March -- now the prices of this place are sky high .. I would rather stay at the Leela or JW Goa ...

0:24 you said it’s the 7th century which is incorrect. The 7th century means 600AD-700AD . The Portuguese came to Goa in 1510 , hence this could’ve happened in the 1600s which is the 17th century 😎

First let me clear one thing, coz i belong to sindhudurg where this fort is located( on borders though goa govt owns it) 1) Its terecol for...Not tiracol( we shouldnt pronounce fort in portuguese way... Why read next point) 2) terecol fort is not portuguese owned fort it was built by raja bhosle of sawantwadi( marathas) and later when almeida waged war against the bhosale took away the fort. Thus fort is of our ancestors ( indians and not of Portuguese) 3) Its a beautifull fort... And nature scenary is leaves us stuterring... 4) only after crossing land you reach goa...i.e. borders by a straight ( water body) 5) There should be effort to reclaim such indian heritages 6) terecol fort is not in goa .... Its in sindhudurg 😂😂😂 only few people know it
