The average IQ of a law enforcement officer in the United States is 104-106, and the average education level is 2 years. Honestly, if you are going to trust someone with a gun, power to arrest, and qualified immunity then these should be the minimum not the average. Additionally, there needs to be much more extensive psychological evaluations to weed out power trippers, bullies, emotionally immature and the morally corrupt.
