I disliked operatic music until I heard Josh Groban and FORTE. Your audition on AGT actually brought me to tears. The song and exact harmonies overwhelmed me. I wanted to see you in Vegas but never was there when you were. I had to be one of the first to get your CD. Ordered it before it was even released. zucchini2007 Somehow their voices need to get into the recording system, and that is what the microphones are for. It is wonderful to go to a live concert where there are no mikes, but they don't translate well to video. The mikes are a necessary evil in this case.

What an incredible leap, from AGT, to Carnegie Hall and ND. Unbelievably good Guys. Noticed the applause before your unexpected but awesome final and fourth Vincero. I know Jackie Evancho did the fourth Vincero on AGT, but who originated it? I know Jackie worked with David Foster, but was it his creation? Imo, it really finishes the song, and I think Puccini and Pavarotti would have loved it. Bravo Forte :)

The video that used to be up of Andrea Bocelli at Central Park added the last one. It was the first time I saw that done too. David Foster and Bocelli do a lot of concerts together, so he's probably the one who started it. I think it's brilliant and adds a lot of drama to the piece.

Ms. Mamie, If you like to listening to classically trained singers you can't go past the Asian show on KZbin called SUPER VOCAL. Three guys did the song and there are other songs like LA VITA, LUNA and others. Lots are in Chinese but some are in English like THE SOUND OF SILENCE 3 guys harmonize so beautifully in it. Another is I DREAMED A DREAM one of the singers hit a D 8 in it'. His name is Gao Tianhe and does a few songs solo like the song SHE IS MY SIN. When looking for the song type in SUPER VOCAL first then song title. Another good song by 2 men is THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT, CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT?. You might like the old standard VOLARE. Have you heard of a singer called Dimash Kudaibergen he was trained from the age of 5 classically and has a big following and if you don't know of him he has done a few songs in English too? He can go crazy high and hits what is called the whistle note. There are special YT videos of him with clips of him doing all kinds of notes. Please do check out the songs and enjoy them.

Used to be keen on country and pop but after finding Dimash Kudaibergen and Super Vocal that has changed. Dimash is very popular and does a lot of classical type songs too. He has one out called KNOW and near the end goes really high. I forget what I wrote as I do tons of comments but do try the guy's classical songs you will love them too.
