Sir you are teaching in a very simple way. And I can see how much you have done hard work to make these lecture videos. Teachers like you are needed at each and every college/universities/school in our country who can teach like you. I am post graduated from BHU , I liked your lecture very much. And I will suggest students to go through your lectures. Thank you sir.

Hats off to you for including the code It is often confusing to just have the BE curve plotted in books without actually having a base to do it Love this extra efforts from your side Keep it up. This makes your channel unique
Sir i am chemistry student but i learnt a lot of basics in nuclear chemistry from your lectures, your communication and teaching is excellent . Pls continue your amazing wrk

Teaching, maybe...but depends on what you are trying to teach. This feels like an explanation but in reality it is a summary of how others have tackled the question but not really explained the experimental results.

Great video. You have the surface energy and the Coulombic energy both negative. Does this mean the surface effect tends to try to make the nucleus expand? If so, would this be different from a liquid drop where the surface tension tends to prevent expansion? Thanks

sir, why nuclei stability dec when surface area inc.
@HimanshuSingh-jn1tf4 жыл бұрын
i am very late but the nucleons at the surface will have lesser number of surrounding nucleons to interact with that's why we introduce a correction term to offset the volume term which solely by itself assumes all particle will have same number of nucleons to bind to

How is 1/ravg=1/Q integral dq/r
@FortheLoveofPhysics5 жыл бұрын
Every charge is at a different radial distance. So u integrate infinitesimal charge over radial distance. This contains the total charge as a product, so u need to divide it to get average (1/r). If u still have difficulty, imagine any other property like mass etc instead of charge

Like your work, but I am sorry to say there is NOT "good agreement" with the experimental data. Having derived the three most probably significant component expressions for B, you don't even plot the experimental data on the same graph! So while the overall shape may be the same, the actual values may not agree, and more significantly, there is no explanation for the saw teeth (or anomalously low values) on the ascending part of the curve when A and Z are small. Simply looking up the coefficients on google doesn't cut it.
