Just finished Bag A - beautiful puzzle - ugh to starting the sort on bag D tomorrow morning LOL I left the dark purples, blues and blacks till last - sorted into shapes and just worked them by trying pieces till one fit, then that usually gave me a shape I had less of to try. Still took a few hours to do them. Enjoyed working this puzzle.

The one thing I like about Clementoni is that the shapes have a lot of variety which definitely helps when doing solid colour areas. I need to get cracking on the next section!

@@fortheloveofpuzzles I started sorting Bag D last night - ugh not my favourite job but I'm finding it okay - will probably finish sorting tonight or tomorrow. LOL I just want to get stuck in and work on it

Section A was definitely difficult, but it’s super helpful in the next sections to know how the stone pieces look as well as the gate 😊 But honestly, section C has been the most difficult for me. It has so much green and white/stone, it’s basically 3 main colors and I’m doing a lot of shape sorting. I get sorting fatigue also 😂 I always end up with a miscellaneous pile that is future me’s problem. So glad you are enjoying it, and thanks for the videos! ❤

I was thinking that Section C might also be quite tricky with all the green and white...thanks for the head's up!

I absolutely love this puzzle specially because it's a continuous image. About the timelapse, if you check your timer you can see the frames are more like 1.5 seconds apart, it looks great to be from your phone! Can't wait to see the rest of this puzzle. I don't have very large puzzles but I think I'll be brave and start one of my 3000 pieces that I've been putting off. Happy puzzling 😁

I do also love that it is one continuous image. When you do start a 3k, let me know which one it is.

@@fortheloveofpuzzles I have a Castorland that's been sitting in my closet for a year, it's like a countryside image with a cottage. My first from that brand. I like that it's not huge, their pieces are smaller and it's about the size of a 2000 piece Ravensburger. I'm doing it!

This will be a really fun puzzle when it's finished. I just love the image. I (and my bro-in-law) just did a 1000 piece Ravensburger. Took us about 10-12 hours broken up. It was Disney's Pinocchio and had SO MANY brown pieces. By the time we hit the last 2-300 pieces, we had to sort by shape and try to judge shades of brown. It did get finished but totally agree that that part of a puzzle is probably the least fun part of putting it together. I can't imagine having a 2200 piece section full of dark pieces!
@fortheloveofpuzzles3 ай бұрын
I think we can all agree that not all images make great puzzles - I almost wish brands would play-test their puzzles with actual puzzlers and take in feedback. Various shading or lines in the brown would have helped and make the puzzle much more fun.

@@fortheloveofpuzzles Truth! So many puzzles could be improved with one person even, testing it out before making a ton of them. In fairness to Ravensburger though, Some of the browns did have a bit of texture, but oddly there were a fair amount of false fits that muddied up the waters along with us not being expert puzzlers. I try to stay away from dark puzzles and he only does a few puzzles a year.

Hey there. I'm probably about 3/4 done with Part A now. Just doing some as I pass by the table - finding that when I look again later, I can get maybe 20 pieces that I just couldn't see earlier. Looks beautiful finished. I still have those dark sky and the top right hand beiges/browns to do. Worked most of the blue/green bits last night. I sorted bag B which is the top center but might actually sort bag D and follow along with your progress. I'm envious of your sorting helper LOL

Oh! I would love for you to be puzzling along with me. I thought it would be best to do D so that I was still quite familiar with the colours and textures in that part of the puzzle.

Great video as always It is really nice to see how you are enjoying the puzzle I also agree with you about the sorting. OMG it is sometimes sooooo boring! It helps a lot with building the puzzle but my oh my it is tough to stay focus on the sorting sometimes🤣 Me and my sister started to sort the 9k Marvel puzzle by Trefl and we are just one bag in and we both are fed up with the sorting😅 It is nice that you have a friend that is ready and willing to help you with it
