@@ForTheRoadTravels we are spending 3 days in vallodolid and then 8 days at grand sirenis akumel quintana roo. I am thinking of doing the ado bus from cancun to valladolid and conectivos from there to the ruins and cenotes. I love your videos and congrats on wedding. simone you have the cutest accent and you both are so genuine! we hope to do xcaret and a tour from homeys tours on dune buggies thru the forest , maybe a colectivo to tulum or the monkey sanctuary

@@darlanick7532 Hola Darla, Valladolid is amazing you will love it, please do yourself a favor and go to the Restaurant Zaci and get the "Queso de Bola" empanadas, they're delicious 🤤. ADO and collectivos are the most affordable option to travel in the region, rental cars can be very expensive, and most of the time you just need them to go from point A to B and once in the location the car is not really needed. Awww thank you so much we love to make these videos and help everyone who's interested in traveling this area and Mexico 📽🇲🇽. Simone says thank you 🙏🙏, she sometimes feels afraid that people cannot understand her because of her accent, but I think is the beauty of being from different places everyone has an accent when speaking English or any other language. Xcaret is amazing but the night show is a MUST you cannot miss it. Hey Chris ☺️ we met while we were living in The Cayman Islands 🇰🇾 I don’t think marriage was on the radar for either of us in the very beginning of our relationship, but the more we got to know each other, the deeper we fell in love ❤️ I think intercultural/interracial relationships are so interesting in the way that your mind gets opened up to an entire new way of thinking and you become exposed to things that were once completely foreign ☺️🙏🏼 I love Mexicans for their warmth, their humor and the culture around food & family🫶 Growing up in a pretty Westernized society, I always felt like I lacked culture, so it’s funny to me that I ended up with a man who has exposed me to such an interesting culture and way of being 👌🏼🙏🏼 thank you so much for your well wishes Chris 🥰

We are also not a big fans of big hotels; however when we have the chance to stay at them due to work or to spoil ourselves we do appreciate the facilities and services. We like to stay in small boutique hotels or Airbnbs that are unique. If you come to Playa there is a nice little hotel called HM and is nice and cozy and very close to everything in PDC 🙏. Thank you so much Sonia 🤗🤗 yes, it really is the best of both worlds - it’s so nice to have the freedom of roaming around Playacar without being surrounded by thousands of tourists and vendors, and it’s also so nice to be situated just on the outskirts of the 5th if you do want to see something different 🙌😇 ya, we were also surprised it was so cold - but, we do live here year round and have acclimatized to the crazy Mexican Caribbean heat, so we’re really not used to the cold anymore 🥶 perhaps it’s not really as cold as what we thought it was 😅🤭 the ocean is actually really pleasant if you’re settled on the beach all day ☀️ we hope you have a beautiful vacation down here - Dec/Jan is such a nice time to visit🎄
