I usually use Linux for all the Network Automation tasks, because most of the time our executions environments(where we are going to keep our scripts) are going to be linux. Hello Nixon, thanks for the comment. when we use ** , we are passing a dictionary as an argument to the function. Insted of that even we can even pass as the named argument net_connect = Netmiko(host='192.168.0.63',username='admin',password='admin',device_type='cisco_ios')

Hi Hemant, if ssh is enabled you should be able to communicate with firewall from python. It uses ssh connection in the backend

For that you can create a separate dictionary containing each fortigate devices username password and IP and pass that while connecting to the device

Hello Riccardo, if you add "fast_cli"="True" in the Netmiko connection, this improves your connection speed.
