FortiGate/FortiSwitch 802.1x port authentication (and MAB) with Windows RADIUS

yea what the heck, thats a big step. totally changes the logic of how the 802.1x works in this scenario

I used this video to setup 802.1x on FortiAuthenticator (FAC). It's essentially the same if you understand how to use FAC. The step that is missing is adding FortiSwitch as a RADIUS client (switch1). Since it's apart of the FortiGate, create a second RADIUS client using the same shared secret as the FortiGate in NPS/FAC. When going through the authentication workflow, the request is coming from the switch and not the FortiGate. This did the trick for me.

I have issue when connect the ip phone on port configured with policy 802.1x and when unplug the cable from the pc the phone down

Lots of scenarios have windows server so I figured I'd make the video on Windows Radius. FAC is a good option too
