Hey, thanks for the video. Regarding the downgrade scenario 1, I assume that in a HA cluster this procedure pushes the rollback to the secondary and after that the primary does the same in order to guarantee availability. Similar to an upgrade, is this correct? Thanks! :)

Good question. When following downgrade scenario1 with HA it will NOT push the rollback as far as I know. Each one will need the partition flip done manually. Technically the fortigate doesn't think of this procedure as a downgrade(even though it's simpler to word it as a downgrade), fortigate thinks of it as switching partitions so there is no configuration migration that it will consider like it would during an upgrade

@@tothepointfortinet3823 Thanks for the reply :) Yeah your thought process makes total sense. It would be awesome to see an easier and cleaner way to downgrade HA clusters, downgrades are always a pain in the ass and a boomer for the client to withstand unavailability in the services. Anyways great video, I might use the first method if I come across any standalone unit :P Much better than downgrading and restoring configs!

Interesting haven't seen that, can you send screenshot? Also what happens if you upgrade again (even if you upgrade to same version, just want to see if a subsequent upgrade does anything else)
