Damn dude well done. You think you can beat the final boss with a setup like that tho? Cuz the end of it is a bit of a dps check isnt it (kill him before the entire arena is hot sand soup)?

For sure, boss might be massive but it's pretty weak to slash. I ran the DPS calc and assuming my setup (with dragon defender) and max stats, praying piety and SCB, you have 77.19% chance to hit the boss with a max hit of 47, 7.5 DPS. Just dont brew down every time he does his triple hit combo :P

hey in waves 8-11 doing this corner tile what do you do if a manti core spawns right at your ice barrage area? i just cant figure it out 2 waves in a row its given me that lion spawn. what would you do?????

pray against it while dealing with the fremenniks, afterwards try to kill it or wait for minotaur. keep in mind, a shaman will also spawn at the later waves and you might need to offtick it with the manticore/whatever mob was stuck behind the pillar

What’s super crazy is the fee is 500k after you do 75 waves or something?!?! Costs mills and mills to learn the content and you only get 2m for completing the whole thing??

@@Sadboyclique I guess the idea is that is for it to be end game content so you'd theoretically already have the gp from previous bossing to afford it, which is certainly true for top tier pvmers

I don't use reentry, you might be confused by the sands left by Volatility III, which are left on the ground when an enemy dies

To keep things simple: 1. I start on my marked tile and once the wave spawns, I quickly look for where everything spawned While making sure that there will be AT MOST 1 monster that will attack me behind the second pillar, I run out in a way that will offtick the mager/rangers (this is different each time as the way to do it is dependent on spawns) 2. once at the other pillar, I go to my other marked tile to freeze the fremenniks, I make sure to protect melee, sometimes I'll have to run in a circle to offtick with another monster that might be attacking me on that pillar 3. blood barrage them (you can spec meleer with an eldrich or ranger with sgs if you want), they are in 2 stacks so no matter which mob dies, they will always be in range of eachother for barraging 4. if you have good gear and its a shockwave that is attacking you, you could try killing it but otherwise wait for minotaur, and solve the wave from there. keep in mind, a mager can spawn infront of the claw guy/minotaur, you'll have to offtick it if anything is attacking you on the pillar by running backward with correct timing.

It's cool and impressive that you were able to get this far on a budget (though Avernic and Infernal Cape are not items a player on this budget would be rocking), but I think you've kind of missed the point of the complaints. You died without coming close to killing the boss, so I don't think you really proved much there. Maybe a very strong player could get an early completion on an alt with this method, but I don't see anyone with an actual 10M networth being able to pull this off. So this is essentially just a challenge run rather than a proof of viability for mid levels. Also look at the net outcome here: you effectively wasted an hour of your time and an inventory of supplies, and got nothing in return. Unless you get a quiver, this is just not worth doing. If you're a main you could just have farmed wave 1 for splinters and made more gp with less sweat, and as an iron why would I ever do this when the droprate of uniques - even the slightly better prozzy - is so low? Colosseum was pitched as being something everyone could meaningfully participate in and get scaling rewards, but in reality only wave 1 and wave 12 have value and everything else is a waste of time.

I think this was a showcase of like going in the the extreme bare minimum will get you to at least the boss. Granted you see this you most likely at least have access to better items than this guy went in with

I for one found this very good, considering a lot of completions are in 6b+ gear. Showing how 10m can get you to the boss is really nice and means once you've got the boss mechanics down, a lot of this content can be accessed by a large majority of players.

​@@Bernandornoerkee8338in this game against almost every monster in the game you need to turn on the prayer 1 tick BEFORE the monster STARTS the attack. It makes no difference how long the attack takes to get to you, the damage is calculated when it starts the attack animation.
