I like that ending and it makes sense.. my first bike, I dropped so many times, but I always fixed it and it never let me down.. taught me so much.. I am a very confident, pretty safe rider these days but, still have to have fun, and we learn from our mistakes.. my current bike has not been dropped, yet.. came close a few times, but all good, i anticipate the loss.. More often than not I do dress for the slide, not the ride.. but on a quiet sunny hot breezeless Sunday morning.. Nothing beats a muscle shirt and shorts in southern Alberta at 90km/h.. go from a sweat to chills in minutes, stop and feel your skin trying to still run.. I don’t know.. it’s a feeling.. Maybe freedom, maybe dumb.. but it’s great and I love it.. My body my choice hah

Just be aware that in some jurisdictions you'll need to put the foot down at some point in order to avoid getting a ticket for running a red. Here in WA a stop is more or less defined as putting a foot down, even if you're not technically stopped.
