i dont recommened this since u have no control over your movement. recommened using shift and c with 2 side mouse buttons and v to edit. those allow u to have full control and with ur thumb its super easy to move from v and c. and you dont need ur index moving to hit 2 keybinds. now if u dont need full control on ur movement. i still recommend these because ur ring finger and index finger can be used to pull out ur shotgun or pickaxe when editing. unless u use scroll wheel up pickaxe but i highly recommend using that for pickup which allows you to win more 50/50’s because auto pickup guns doesnt always work

Here's something that I haven't seen mentioned before but that I think is very important to note: if you click C/V with your index finger, use F to edit; if you click C/V with your thumb, use E to edit. This is so that your index finger extends upward comfortably to edit and so that it does not have to move out to the side (G editors) or bend (C editors). P.S. V (thumb) edit #1! ;3

@@Peezs If they use their thumb to edit, stick with it because it’s the most optimal method in my opinion (V is the best bind for thumb editing, I agree). I’m saying that if they use C for something such as a build bind on their index finger (ex. x8 uses C for floor), they should use F as it’s closer to C than E. But, if they use their thumb for something such as a build bind (like you with roof on V), they should use E.

I use shift and release but I've realised now for good mechanics its not that good even after a year of using it because the pinky is the weakest finger you have so its just slower when trying to edit super fast

@@aa-p2pi recommened using shift and v with f or e to edit because this allows u to have more control on your movement also while having ur fingers never have to be taken off of ur build or edit bind. and the other fingers could be used for pulling out ur pickaxe since scroll wheel up for pickup is highly recommended over pickaxe

I'm a console(PS4) KBM player and it's pretty hard to triple edit and stuff, my binds are:(I use scroll wheel reset btw) 1= Pickaxe L-Alt=First slot(AR) Q=Second slot(Shotgun) 2=Third slot(Grapple blade) Z=Fourth slot(Sniper/Heal 1) X=Fifth slot(Heal 2 if I don't have a sniper/Heal 1 if I do) Mouse button 5=Wall Mouse button 4=Stair E=Floor L-Shift=Cone R=Rotate building G=Trap I was thinking of getting the G402 and I want to use the extra thumb button so that i confirm my edits, currently I'm using Edit on Release on but I'm planning to not use it anymore. Edit: I now use Q for my pickaxe, E for Use, Scroll wheel up for my shotgun and c for my floor

My bind progression has been weird: I started, like everyone else, with G When I fully switched to KBM, I used F I then switched to E and found it better than F Now, a few hours ago, I switched to V I noticed instantly the freedom I had to move wherever and whenever I want when using V to edit. I just have to get used to it now!

Bro thank you I use Q to its amazing and I’m really good with it besides it’s too hard to change the bind because of muscle memory so if u are used to Q stick with it as people say stick with what’s comfortable for you

Use f or c, I was thinking about c because on one side (x) you can use floor and on the other (v) can be cone and stair and wall are mouse buttons

z to wall, x to floor, c to stair, q to cone, e to edit (sometimes f), 1 for pickaxe, 2 for weapon slot, mouse 4 for slot 2, 3 for slot 3, mouse 5 for slot 4, left control for slot 5, v for trap, t for map and alt for emote. My binds are weird
