The point is (as with other emotes where female characters sit with their legs close together) that you can't get easy upskirt views of characters who wear skirts/dresses. The game has to do stuff to stay T-rated, just like censoring swears in certain songs

I don't see what the point of adding this emote was if they were just going change it for females. I get it, they want the game to have a clean image, but the dance is fairly suggestive (and making the actual dance for males only doesn't make it any less suggestive). It’s the same for the upside down keytar emote. When the boys handstand and play it, they spread their legs wide. When the girls do the emote, they keep their thighs together.
