Theory: the mothership has been abducting old or og POI’s every season and moving away from the island quick enough but since the zero point got exposed it has been deflecting the motherships power making it travel away from the map slower. This had made the aliens come down to try and take over our island since they don’t think they will be able to get back and their mothership is stuck forever.
