I personally think this chapter really rivals chapter 1, the only advantage chapter 1 has is that every update there was something new, this one has a lot of retuning stuff and less new, but other than that the amount of content we got this chapter is unmatched.

As much as I think a new Chapter would be cool. I personally really like Chapter 3, the Island is a perfect mix between aspects of Chapter 1 and 2. I think whenever they do Chapter 4, whether that is December or another couple months, I hope they use the Chapter 1 map, but completely overhaul it to fit with Chapter 2/3 mechanics.

I believe that players don't hate chapter 2 entirely. I think that most people could agree with your opinion about at least season 2 carrying the 2nd chapter. For some people though the upcoming seasons began getting worse and the lack of map changes. Although I do agree with your opinion. Chapter 2 has been the best chapter so far in my eyes. From season 2 through 5.

The map changes being lacklustre definitely did make that chapter become kinda tedious, I think I just loved the map so much personally that I was okayish with it haha but I definitely do understand why that made people become so sick of the chapter itself. I think overall though it definitely did have a lot of good seasons and content but for some people that’s outclassed by the things they didn’t like which is fair. And omg I totally forgot about season 5 lol that was such a fun season :)

There’s no way they’ll be starting a new chapter this early. I know last chapter ended in season 8 unlike the first chapter ending in season X, but this feels like it’s way too early to be bringing in a whole new island and chapter. The story felt as though this chapter would be a variety of threats coming to try and take down the island with the seven helping out, but if the chapter is going to end here then idk how they could really continue the story from that point on. Because when you think about it, each chapter has its own story that links with the previous one. Chapter one had the rifts, Chapter two had the IO and soon the cube queen too, but this chapter hasn’t really linked with any of it apart from having the IO come back for one season then just vanishing again. There’s not really been much of an impactful story that would justify the end of the chapter and a start of a new chapter.

(Replying to HJDoogan's comment) To be honest, the way the game is now, they need to release chapter 4 immediately. The players are really starting to leave and the new seasons keep people interested for only a week. Chapter 4 along with all the mechanics that are supposed to be released along with it will really help the game and I'd love to see another chapter ending event. Those are my favorites!

i like to think that a chapter ends when the story has gone to the furthest point it can. right now every is dead. IO is down and the seven are too. i'm pretty sure the chrome is going to take over and the zero point does something and delivers us to a new map. anyway, we are kind of following in the footsteps of last chapter. the seven and IO and fighting against each other for the zero point. and in the midst of all this conflict, an alien species arrives taking over the map. then the surface of the map becomes inhospitable for the zero point so it creates a new island. anyway getting a new map may be for the best. with tactical sprinting the map feels smaller because we can get across faster. i'd love to see the map get bigger in the next chapter.
