hey Jerian Could you do a video on resizable bars? I just recently learned about it, and it helped my fps. I thought you should bless others with it intel and AMD talk about how to enable it. I saw a 70-100 fps improvement on Fortnite, and I'm running a 3060 12 GB and a Ryzen 7 5700G. What it does, All gaming PCs produce an on-screen image by way of the CPU processing data - textures, shaders and the like - from the graphics card’s frame buffer. Usually the CPU can only access this buffer in 256MB read blocks, which obviously isn’t very much when modern GPUs regularly have 8GB of video memory or much, much more. Resizable BAR essentially makes the entirety of the graphics frame buffer accessible to the CPU at once; where it could once sip, it now guzzles. The idea is that once textures, shaders and geometry are loading in faster, games should run faster with higher frame rates.

I hated the new movement at first but now that I’ve played more and gotten used to it I actually like and I’ve been able to play better than I did before, the only thing I dislike about it is that it’s 10% slower than the old movement

They should remove the weird screen wiggle and -10% less speed while walking, but the movement is pretty solid.

Just remember that if you have a newer graphics card version (the RTX series and above) you would most likely play on DX12 instead of Performance (which runs on dx11) because game feels smoother and more consistent (1% lows are more often in DX11 and that is way worse than having just low but consistent fps). Also it is strongly recommended to play with TSR or nvidia DLSS if you have it because you will generate lower resolution and get more fps with additional antialiasing for free.

Nope, view distance doesnt effect render distance of players, only builds and loot. And just ping the loot if you want to see what it is. No reason to use above near unless you want high meshes

Just so u know guys for the direct DX 12 is way better if you have an RTX card or above simply because you won’t get as many frame drops and it’s way more stable for those cards Yeah, the FPS is a bit lower but it comes with the benefit of it. Be more stable and smooth. I tested it out because I didn’t believe it at first I have a 2070 super and rising seven 3700 X and I’m performance mode. My frames were constantly dropping to as low as 80 but now on RX 12 it really drops 200 that’s the difference in stability which I think it’s worth it having 5% less FPS with way more stability but this is just for everybody can make their own informed decisions

Remember that on AMD graphics cards dx12 is usually better than performance mode. You can always try for yourself though.

Its cause you are prob using a radeon card, and if so, use dx12 cause it will run better. I have the same issue and I get better on all low dx12
