Found this (makes life easy for duplicating / deleting lots of items quickly) hold CTRL + ALT and drag a box over the items to highlight them, good for selecting a large number instantly for deleting or duplicating (if some are selected that you want to then un-select you can hold CTRL and click on each item you want to un-select) then delete what you don't need.

When u add custom assets to 2.0 can u delete them from your computer or do they have to stay on my computer to use on other maps?

I have marketplace assets that I migrated from another project into UEFN. I can't seem to actually play my maps after adding the assets. They are blueprints, by the way. It just says something like "Island projects cannot use public assets" and tells me it's because of the imported assets. Any way to get around that?

how do I import models as one thing? whenever Import one thing, it breaks it apart into little pieces and I have to basically build it myself

That sounds like an asset issue related to how you've exported it from whichever 3d package. I think in the past I remember using a tickbox in the Import Options that pop up to combine separate parts to single. I'm not sure if that's still available or if it's reliable. It's probably better to learn how to export from your 3d software correctly.

@@DevEnabled I figured it out and it turns out I had to check the “combine static meshes” box when importing. Thanks for the help

man its Unreal Engine 5 obviously that is not optimized for low resource pcs xd

@@joeliasn1359 Yeah, the editor definitely has a fair amount of extra overhead. That's why it's useful to know to lower the res when editing as all of that is stripped out when packaging. So the end user won't see the performance hit.
