Fortnite didn't need to go so hard with the music, it was an absolute banger. The sad piano after the explosion really hit hard as well. Also the Wanderer was revealed to be Dr Doom. One of the best mini events ever honestly, 1000x better than fracture.

But *[SPOILER ALERT!]* they see Geno slowly disintegrating while he congratulates The Foundation on finally winning. He hopes that it was worth it for him and that he turns out to be right because if not, everything will be doomed... and then Geno and The Imagined die inside there, at which point The Foundation and Jones just leave the Zero Point straight after. So they were pretty much around straight after for Season 3.

People were getting the reason for the countdown all wrong. One of the biggest feedback I saw from last season’s mini event was that a lot of people didn’t know when it would be happening and so couldn’t attend the event. So Fortnite took that into consideration this time around and added a countdown. The countdown wasn’t there to necessarily build up hype for the event as last countdowns have done, instead it was mostly there to inform players that “hey this is when this event is happening, show up if you can.” It’s fine if you assumed this was going to be a full on live event because if you used anecdotal evidence, every other live event with a countdown has been big for the most part. This time is wasn’t though and I think this is what should be expected for upcoming countdown event in the future if the countdown isn’t shown in the in-game lobby.

I feel like people should've known it wasn't a full blown Live Event regardless. Not only would Epic put the Countdown in around 10 days before the event, it'd be in the lobby as well as be officially announced in a blog post or something. They'd also give it a separate game mode and have it cause immediate downtime into next season. So even without any other info, people should probably know it's not a Big Live Event simply by the fact it's not officially announced on Social Media, their Blog Post, or in the in-game news feed...
