Imagine me back in 2018-2020, I have to watch the internet spamming “Fortnite is dying”, “Fortnite is dead” or “this game will kill Fortnite” everytime Fortnite or any game not Fortnite does anything, only to watch Fortnite content creators doing the same. 2018-2020 was much worse because that was the time the internet absolutely hated Fortnite so much, people are so hyped to wish for Fortnite to be “killed” and will celebrate it’s “death” as if Hitler died. Marvel Rivals and Fortnite collabed not to long ago with Dr Doom 2099. Both games are doing fine. I hope they collab again so more marvel characters get a new skin. Starlord has such a good design in Marvel Rivals and having the real guy instead of a cosplay from years ago would be nice.

Will Fortnite ever REALLY die? I think the only way Fortnite could die is if Epic themselves shut it down. But I see no world where that happens. Epic makes an INSANE AMOUNT of money from skins, battle passes, collabs, ect. So there is really no world where Fortnite dies.

4:16 lootpool is what can skill fortnite slowly. I mean I am sick of only new items and one or two returning ones. It’s not basic ones I want back I want the wacky unique ones like the flint knock or grab a tron which ironically can help balance the op items in root pools flint knock stops swords and the grab a tron could of stopped cars in wrecked. Epic only adds 1 item an update and honestly is a valid complaint now as they have a huge backlog they can do wild weeks again like in chapter 2. Something to make it so people play more as the lootpool will change more often.

Marvel Rivals and Fortnite cannot be compared outside of the fact that both games are live services that constantly need your attention and money. If Rivals was a story mode hero shooter. You can still play both easily,even with a job. But for someone like me,having an additional live service game to the 3 i already play while having a job is too much which is why I'm more inclided to play fornite then rivals,especially with all the time and money i have already sunked into fortnite.

Im so uninterested in fortnite rn because every time they bring back an IP with mythics they completely ignore the gameplay and just add skins. Its incredibly boring and unoriginal especially when they have added mythics before and received no backlash (actually they receive praise for it) and they don’t even add a game mode or anything for the collab and because the game is so stale I haven’t played in 2 weeks. I’ll be honest, I’ve been playing since the first month of Fortnite. every week nearly every day I play the game, but chapter 5 killed my fun, we spent a year with bullet drop and the second I like it we go back to hitscan. And now chapter 6 is fun but it doesn’t hit the same as it should. This is bad to say but I put nearly 100-150 hours into *every season* now I can barely finish the battle pass. All I can play is OG and reload but they are too sweaty for someone who is incredibly mid at the game. I know not most of this will make sense to anyone but me, but I wanted old Fortnite but I see now all I felt is nostalgia and that’s worn off. I don’t see myself playing Fortnite in 6 months or at least now playing it fully. I just wish something would hit the same as Fortnite did for longer than a few weeks (yes I play marvel rivals)

Whats to fear about from Marvel Rivals? OW2 should worry if anything, Fortnite has a bunch of gamemodes and the genre its dominant in does not conflict with Rivals. Infact, Fortnite might get better if anything since Remix and the current season is better then the overall state of Chapter 5. The only way Fortnite can die, is if Epic decides to continue worsening the game, the second marvel season was so bad I was actually tempted to just drop the game.

"OW2 should worry" blizzard has nothing to worry about. It's a healthy competition that will make both games better. Overwatch has an extremely loyal playerbase that won't abandon this game. Besides they're already making some improvements. I mean they are adding a whole ahh hero talents system while MR is suffering from the same meta Overwatch once did. Marvel Rivals is more casual and fun while Overwatch is way more competitive.
