I recommend that you slow down this video when the solo begins and practice with your unplugged controller, then go increase the speed until you feel confident to do the song, thats what i did

My bass score is around the same, just slightly lower, but im trying to figure out how these people have gotten over 155,000, is it perfects or are they boosting at different times

I would guess a mix of both, you want to use boost just enough to have max by the time the bass “solo” hits. But perfects play no small part too.

they are called lift ups that follow a note. When you press the note before, hold down until the lift up comes, then lift up. Alternatively you can just treat it as another note and press it (esp for songs with more spaced out lift notes)
