THIS is the exact reason Fortnite lost its original hype. What I believed happened in the past was that ppl were hooked by the collabs, and stuck for the gameplay and the story. Now, there is no clear story to follow, there’s way too many collabs which overwhelms ppl, and Fortnite seems to be taking a new direction which is some “metaverse”. It’s honestly not a bad idea in my opinion, but how they are doing it so far makes me worry.

there are many things epic needs to change like the item shop and all, but in some things us players carry fault. chapters get shorter bc there are players who cried about chapters being too long or seasons being too long. in fortnite it's mostly that players cry about something, then epic solves it, and then players cry again bc they regret it. in my opinion the map should become more simple again like it was in Chapter 1 or 2. then they can focus more on other things like live events

I miss original lvl 100 battle pass skins, now we just get random characters like Kora or Darth Vader. I missed hearing a new battle pass come out and eagerly looking up the lvl 100 skin because before Fortnite always cooked with them :/

Having the option to hide confrontational emotes was a good update. The confrontational emotes were in the store a long time ago and not everyone had the opportunity to buy it, so why should they have to watch someone taunt them with emotes you can’t access.
