It is fun though, it is total carnage out there, who wants to be a tryhard every match? Ive had my fair share of wins in no build, and i have been only playing 5 months, it felt more like a grind. This season lets loose. It is also still early as well, there are ways to counter cars, it just happens to be the dominant force this season. Like other seasons there were overpowered strats or items as well.

0:50 Another way you can also do to get the boss's car is if you deal a little bit of damage to the war bus and taken the gunners out, the driver will hop out and you can take it. The war bus has an EMP ability (Disables Vehicles and breaks opponent's overshield in Zero Build). You can use the EMP on the boss's car forcing them to jump out. Wait till the vehicle is enable again then take it. This might be a bit slower than the method shown but you'll get the same result
