Top five gaming: I think I know it. Hear me out: The doomsday event is when Midas LAUNCHES THE MISSILES. All players attending the live event will have to go to “Retracted.” ( The bunker in the mountain.) The missiles are actually the rockets, from Season X. All the players will have to go into the bunker, where there is the “Inbetween.” ( from season 8/9 ). Like what happened when we went there in Season 8/9, we will have to go out. Then, the island will be a waste land. This is just a thought though.

I love this theory but I have one of my own. At the end of chapter 1, the scientist used power from the zero power orb in the middle of lazy lake to suck everything from the old map into a black hole, and we got a new map. Ego/shadow sent agents to protect the map from chaos agent. Midas’ house turned to the agency as a coverup, but I think the doomsday device is actually a rift back to the old map, as leakers have found the old map in the files. If fortnite is based on pop culture, this could be like gravity falls. The “doomsday device” is actually a portal. Instead of a radioactive substance, Midas uses oro’s power the create a portal. The shape of the leaked device is an orb, just like the zero point, and since ninja doesn’t like the new map, it seems reasonable that epic would make a portal back to the original universe. Please tell me what you think!

Theory: ghost is from past time, shadow is alternate universe time. In the past, midas' plans to detonate the bomb was ruined by someone after they realized what midas was up to. Fight unfolds, midas is pushed into his doomsday device causing it to error and implode, killing midas and saving the island. Then we find out that midas didn't die, thanks to his gold touch he was able to survive this implosion, creating oro. Full of anger he uses the zero point to go back into time, warn his past self about what happens and who interferes so when they travel to another alternate universe, his enemies are taken out 1 by 1 to make sure no one gets in their way again. To set the stage we have ghost, brought from the past to present time to succeed in island annihilation. Then we have shadow, alternate universe agency with a midas who didn't want island annihilation and now they fight. Or maybe oro succeeded in their alternate universes and now wants to succeed in other universes idk😂😂

I think that the hatches are vaults because when you get one of the cards to a vault and the storm goes on it it will take you to the agency. I built on top of one of the pods and it for some reason pointed me in a different direction but I think it did that because they weren’t usable yet.

Theory: Midas is trying to bring back the zero point with the doomsday device, and is a double agent for shadow, who I believe was the organization to dig up loot lake, and built the rocket. I'll start with why he is bringing back the zero point to harness its power. This is because as the visitor said in his secret message to us after the end event, "The Zero Point is inevitable..." Also if you look at the doomsday device itself it has a huge glass sphere with similar size and shape of the zero point. Now I also believe that Midas has been a double agent for shadow trying to take out ghost from the inside. I say this because of the picture in his leaked office. The picture shows a girl with long black hair and has a shadow logo who I believe to be Sorana, the secret skin from season 1, who can also be seen in a photo with shadow Brutus in the shadow office in retail row. I also believe that shadow is indeed the organization on the old map trying to find the zero point. I say this because of shadows goal to take over the map by any means, similarly to what the organization on the other map was doing.

Meowscles is now part of shadow so he did some research and found out about midas’ plan to destroy the island. This is maybe why Midas killed lynx because he might have confused the two as they are both cats. Meowscles’ new keycard leads to the doomsday hatches and his plan is to take revenge on Midas and ghost by killing them

The one in the Visitor's dimesnion was destroyed in the End event as it was broken and corrupting , causing time to loop, after Singularity used it to beat the monster.
