You missed an easter egg In the slow motion moment in which Mecha is about to jab the sword into The Devourer's cranium you can hear Mecha say "Ya Yeet" The Yeet meme was popularised by fortnite youtuber "Lazarbeam" but it must have been a nod to a video where a game of "Words With Friends" ends with the board being "Yeeted" at the opposing player's face

Funny about the Go Lion bit, I could throw in the Japanese show Super Sentai has it's footage used in many seasons of Power Rangers. Super Sentai is still going strong, and Power Rangers still uses the shows outfits, monsters, story ideas to make their show as well. Ok. So from 4:30-4:48 he says that Demi is a reference to Blade Runner. But recently a KZbin channel by the name of SMG4///Glitch Productions recently released the first episode of a 3D anime they came up with called Meta Runner. Now the show is about gamers that are willing to replace limbs just for an enhanced gaming experience. And if you look at Demi, she is clearly a gamer girl. Notice the gaming headset? And plus in the credits Epic Games and the Unreal Engine where in the closing credits for the graphics of the show. And Epic Games and the Unreal Engine is also what powers Fortnite. Plus it was around the time of Season 9’s debut was when the channel was trying to hype up the series so Demi in my theory is a meta runner. But also thinking about it now Meta Runner could be based off of Blade Runner but since Demi is a gamer I think it’s referencing Meta Runner.

One other Easter egg. Many of the new buildings in titled strongly resemble some of the old buildings there. There is ome that looks like a fish from the top just like the og one. There is one with an antenna and diagonal roof which resembles the season 7 building.
