Lots of live service games do this. They release a data download the set it to release on the actual date. Same happens with the item shop. They have all the stuff added in for a chunk of time with dates so people are able to read the data files for which ids are returning.

I hope that the bug could be revised later today... or some time this week. Even though the kicks likely wouldn't work on the main skins I use, I'd at least like to see which skins in my locker could wear them (Honestly hope the "The Employee" skin could wear them, as it would be funny to see a sight that only Leathal Company mods and customized models would be able to portray come to Fortnite natually)

Here is everything in the update Shoes unlockable in the battle pass starting tomorrow with other shoes in the files however the shoes are delayed Reload map rotation this update is disabled for now TMNT creative island publishing but it is not available yet but once the issues of UEFN this update are fixed the island publishing will be available Stuff for tomorrow Some Remix the Finale event spoilers New cosmetics New Christmas prefabs for Lego creative were added You can rebroadcast the Remix the Prelude event at Risky Reels just incase you missed it or want to see it again yes it isn't live anymore but it was recorded live The Leviathan is added to creative as a prefab and more stuff to creative were added A spray of Juice World was added on the island Battle pass super styles were added Now for leaks of the update Snowballs will be added to Lego Fortnite closer to Christmas and something else I think is also being added closer to Christmas to Lego Fortnite Ice Isle POI look with ch6 teasers being in it being Japense teasers and the POI will play Oh Shhh Ch6 props were added confirming ch6 is Japanese or at least ch6 s1 That is the leak that I can find but I will put the event spoilers so I will give a warning REMIX THE FINALE EVENT SPOILER WARNING Phase 2 of the event will have Eminem's concert and his concert will take place at Sweaty Sands or near it There will be a ton of launch pads I'm pretty sure they will be near the Eminem concert Harmonix ( the creators of Festival) worked on the event so expect another Festival gameplay in the event as there was a Festival gameplay in the Big Bang event That is all the update brought

@@Eonkid-qk4ir ...You know it's possible for Epic to add content files into a downloadable update but not release it until later, right? That's what happened with Eminem's stuff. On launch we had Snoop Dogg but the files for Eminem's POI, Mythic and Boss was added in that update too, just scheduled to release later. Technically, the same thing also happened here, Ice Spice only JUST came out.
