Dude remember when Upgrade Benches existed. Just put Upgrade Bench functions into the Mod Bench and that makes up for how unaccessible they currently are, or at the very least place them around the map like the Vending Machines are.

What makes me mad abt thermal scopes is that they spawn on the worst weapons. You get one on a tac ar and a combat ar. The recoil on those is insane so with the thermal it’s horrible. They should only spawn on enforcers or dmrs

Has anyone ever thought of a twin-mag barrel for weapons since its a very recent series of weapons. Would have like drum mag size for bullets but would split it into 2 mags with the first mag reload bring quicker but the second is slightly longer?

As the one person who uses the Thermal Scope, I'm hurt. 😭 The reason we use the Thermal Scope instead of the Sniper Scope is because the Sniper Scope has a glare, and the Thermal doesn't. Also it is so weird that they didn't add any new attachments this Season, especially since they had a lot of unreleased attachments like the Burst Attachment and a Dragon Breath Attachment (which both would've been sick).

tbh the thermal scope is a really good middle ground for snipers. you can still hit long range shots but its also much easier to hit quick scopes and closer range shots as i think its only 2.5. also the fact you only have 240 subs is insane for this quality of videos, you really deserve more

The problem with hand cannons getting other foregrips besides Laser isn't that they just wanted to prevent new holding animations, it's actually that Vertical Foregrip Hand Cannon would be a mortifying sniper

I think the thermal scope works really well on a dmr, other than that I never use this optic.

1) thermal scope is useful but hard to control recoil, with the combat AR and the thermal scope you can spray and see people through walls and bullets that bleed through are going to hit the opponent. 2) speed grip is useful to sneak on players because if you ADS while crouched you are way faster and this makes it easier to sneak on someon

​@@SosaIDK those times where you crouch it's useful, the other attachments on shotguns are bad except laser on the combat shotgun (you can't put speed grip on the combat), the speed grip is the most useful with shotguns because the other are useless, laser, except on combat, is useless because of the tight spread, vertical foregrip is worse than the muzzle break, angled foregrip could be useful to ADS faster but there is a bug and you can ADS instantly if done correctly. Nothing replicates what speed grip does, best underbarrel attachment for shotguns

My main Scope with Snipers is actually the Thermal Scope, but now that the only Sniper in the game can’t be modded I don’t have any reason to use this Scope unless if I’m using the Boom Bolt, but if I were carrying the Boom Bolt I would just try to go for the Mythic one which doesn’t have the Thermal Scope anyway.

The px2 was op on snipers and ot was decent on ARs but I think attachment lootpool should change we should've gotten a new scope. But I think the speed grip just needs a buff it's a good concept but the execution is bad and I would say it makes sence because if you have a better grip on the gun then you could move faster without dropping it. And I mean fortnite is a game where Eminem gets shot to death by a sentient banana so does it really have to make sence.

Also what is the deal with shotguns having scopes on them. Like I’ll find a good shotgun but then the scope ruins it for me. The only times I’ve used scopes on shotguns were when the mythics had them. Even Cerberus’ shotgun didn’t have a scope

You should be able to add an extended barrel on a shotgun or saw off the barrel, sawed off would do more damage close range and extended barrel would do more damage far ranged. That way shotguns like the hammer pump can actually have a range boost because it doesnt have a place in any modes current meta.

Before the combat AR came back, the thunder SMG was better than the other AR's, i used thermal sight, drum mag, vertical grip, and muzzle break. Ps, it was op.

The system is garbage they don't change how you play and replaced hitscan for projectile just for "balance" (When the thunderburst smg and combat ar exist and are stupidly broken). Wasted potential to its max, at least they did something with augments when they were introduced in Chapter 4

I found this video to be weirdly upsetting to me, but here’s my little rant with this. These are what I agree with you: 1. 1.8x scope could come back some times soon 2. Would like to see weapon mods at more locations 3. Speed grip could totally get a rework 4. Extended mag could possibly work on Hammer Pump 5. A barrel that reduces bullet drop would be really good However, there’s a lot more things I disagree with you like: 1. I use Thermal scope sometimes, but I’m pretty sure there’s been a lot of people that’s gotten really good with that attachment, so saying that people who use it “don’t exist” is a pretty big understatement 2. You zoom in on a shotgun to better AIM your shot if you wanna do that, but it’s quite a gamble for someone who’s just gonna whip out a spray weapon 3. How the fuck would you hold the Hand Cannon with an attached Angled Foregrip, Vertical Foregrip, or even the speed grip? Who puts there other hand underneath a HAND GUN?! IT HAS A HEAVY RECOIL LIKE ANIMATION FOR A REASON! 4. The Boom Bolt can’t use barrels, cause it’s a fucking crossbow. Get this, crossbows shoot arrows. In the game the Boom Bolt is already pretty quiet when you shoot but whatever. Crossbow silencers do exist, but they are completely different to silencer barrels, so if they wanted to add a silencer to the Boom Bolt, they would have to make a new model for that weapon when attached. For the Muzzle Break, you don’t really need it. 5. Fire Rate Increase Mag sounds good, but I don’t think it should take away some ammo capacity. Maybe it could be similar to the Heisted Maven Shotgun, where the more hits you land, the faster you weapon fires. 6. You ever heard of Twin Mag SMG? We could just have that as an attachment too 7. Every mod can’t work on every weapon, which I’ve talked about before. So that was my whole rant I needed to let out. I just feel that you didn’t really think some things out, but that’s fine I guess

Thermal ranged weapons with fast ADS is overpowered. Goodluck getting into zone with me spraying your team. And speed mag is better than drum mag. You can slide and reload a Gatekeeper or Burst without it cancelling. Plus everyone reloads with half a mag.

Weapons should have hitscan back, and use old weapons that are fine on their own and do not start with attachments. Which I say because Workbenches should stay, but should be rarity base, where the higher rarities give access to a new tab on the gun while lower rarities for the first two sets of mods are guaranteed in a PoI/randomly in the map. Barrel mods(Common): Should be the first mods to choose because theres only two options and they aren't the most significiant changes to your weapon. Grip mods(Uncommon): Next up due to them not giving the most significiant buffs, but have enough variety that can make usage of guns easier like better spray accuracy or how ADSing is improved. Magazine mods(Rare): These are the benches that should be located in vaults and should have 2 more options for bullet types. These are generally very strong where it makes the Gatekeeper, Frenzy, and Reaper overpowered because you could carry 50/66% more in a magazine or have the ability to have better dps with faster reloads. The two ammo options should be fire bullets and twin magazine with a tweak, fire bullets that convert 10% of damage to affect health but also reduce damage by 10% and twin magazine that allows you to reload a followup shot in half the speed but lose out on 30% of ammo in both clips with a 25% slower reload for full clip. Scope mods(Epic): Only attainable on Loot Island. Scopes are likely the sole reason why Projectile bullets exist, and we should go back to hitscan, hence why only one bench that spawns half way in a full game should have the options. Mods are good in concept, but horrible in execution, guns feel balanced around mods(which is why the Warforged and Harbinger feel crap due to super high recoil) and because scopes are on every workbench it would make ARs, SMGs, and Pistols busted like the Twin Mag Rifle and Red Dot AR. The guns we have up to Chapter 5 can exist and have mods, because mods can be tweaked or nerfed either nicking the positive or adding/beefing up the negative, but Scope modding should be very difficult and shifted to the end game and reward players taking chances up there while making it highly valuable.

3:55 I only see one thing in this rant. A person using insane amounts of copium because they can't use the speedgrip. Let me teach you the basics: people have a natural incentive to ads when in a firefight because it reduces spread and makes your shots more accurate. People also tend to move forward/closer to the enemy when in a gunfight to make shots easier to hit. The speedgrip makes you close the distance between you and your enemy, making battles faster overall. And when you say, "How does a grip make my legs move faster?" *it's a game. It doesn't have to make sense.* and while I do agree with you that the acog scope/p2x should come back, you also complain that the thermal scope has too much zoom-in even though it has a 2.1x zoom and the acog has a 2x zoom, which is why it's called the _p2x._ Complaining about an optic that has 0.1 times more magnification than the other invalidates your opinion on the thermal scope for me. But for the end section of the vid, i actually do have some ideas for new mods. Light mag -normal reload speed -slightly increased mag size -higher fire rate -less damage per shot high caliber mags -normal mag reload time -lowered mag size -buffed damage twin mag -you know how a twin mag works. extended barrel -increases effective range/reduces bullet drop-off
