Why Performance mode and not directx 12?

Performance mode is an optimised mode for old and lower graphic cards This provide essential graphics with low gpu charge Performance mode = better fps with low graphics Directx 12 = better graphics overall , but not so optimised

and also dx12 is better for amd gpus, not nvdia

In the end you had shadows on but the gameplay had no shadows
