i liked the documentary and the touch of monsoon, but it drags too much european colonial narrative, for instance repeatedly highlighting pashtun and persian architecuture, my simple question is, how is this narrative backed by the actual architectural remains in afghanistan and persia, the only part of ''indian element'' mentioned is the jain temples, completely ignoring the step wells, lotus ponds, artificial lakes etc to begin with. i think that indian media would want to change this colonial narrative which doesnt mean dragging a hindu nationalist one, only an indian one. Indian archaeology should also focus on excavatin and highlighting pre islamic elements so that those elements can be matched with indo islamic and their indian origins highlighted, surely the royal kings of India in pre islamic period didn't live in caves and surely had to leave legacy for post islamic periods.

Yeah,Mandu Fort can be converted to a hotel.Actually not to a hotel but a beautiful resort for the big day celebration and other official ceremony's.Its a beautiful place.
