Salute to my Rathore forefathers, ruler of the marwar, protectors, the mighty rathores who protected and kept marwar independent through centuries, made a desert prosperous and honourable with their sacrifice. "Muthi bhar sukhi thaki neesar jave daud, Ragat bhijoi hi rahi reti dhar Rathore" Means: you can't even hold the sand of the desert in your hand, this sand(Marwar) has been protected by being wet with the blood of the rathores.

I watched almost all videos but disappointed to see that only northern forts are focused which reflect leisure and pleasure of Rajput kings but ignored the artillery and diplomatic built with scientific approached forts of maharashtra is completely ignored ....This forts was destroyed by mugahals and Britishers due to powerful rebel offered by maratha army ....And it's very sad that we lost the great maratha architecture commissioned by great maratha king Shivaji maharaj....I vry much sure no other forts of Rajasthan is as impregnable and invincible as raigad ,raigad, sindhudurg ,Ratnadurg, lohagad and even more than 350 forts built by rashtrakut kingdoms. This forts not meant for pleasure so mere decorations it mostly for most artillery purpose symbolises the nature of great king who understands the pain and pleasure of poor and exploited subjects.....We got independence but still serving the mugals era ...Don't know far we will have to wait for reclaim for the local Indian kings and their history .... 'मोडेन पण वाकणार नाही' means rather to be killed but not to surrender ...Is basic difference of maratha and Rajput history expect some brave Rajputs like Maharana pratap

Forts are built for safety and protection. Everything becomes difficult when you live above from ground. You won't understand that, your comment is proof that you know nothing. You live a more luxurious life then they did. Living in desert. Sacrificing and protecting people. 9 kings were died by the sword, 6 against muslims. And 20000 Rathores died in battle of sumel protecting people from shershah suri. Many more thousands died in various wars. After independence only 12000 Army men died so far. Of which 25% were Rajputs. Wish they didn't sacrifice their life for their people. That is the reason of low number of Rajput population. Otherwise we would've been a vote bank and politicians would've given importance to us. Your ignorence knows no bounds and your hatred is misplaced mam. Kindly read Rajasthani literature. Our education system is biased so unlearn what you know and start fresh on your own. The truth will surprise you and your blind faith in democracy will be shatred. Btw Forts sirf paise se nahi bante, khoon bahana padta hai. Rao Jodha defeated and drove out Afgan Invaders and laid foundation of Jodhpur on Bhakurcheeria mountain. And It's this fort, Meherangarh, it means "Sun Fort". "Muthi bhar sukhi thaki neesar jaave daud, Ragat bhinjoi hi rahi reti dhar rathore" The sand of desert of thar is so fine that you can't even hold in your hand, it passes through your fingers. This soil is thus protected by being wet with the blood of the Rathores.
