Ok. I have a story, i was in summer school, they only allow you 3 tardies, i had 2, but i woke up late(i was woken up by the fire alarms of the school) i had to get to school as soon as possible, so the moment that i step out the house i see a low flying (so low i could look at the pilot) huey playing fortunate son. So all you see is me sprinting to school among smoke and a huey playing fortunate son with the sound of the engine, and sirens( p.s. i was wearing aviators and a bomber jacket(i was also in ground school) which made me feel cool, even though i am well aware I'm not, it was the moment that was)

2 of my uncles and my uncles father are Vietnam War veterans. My uncles father served 28 years in the army and was a Colonel. Unfortunately he passed last year and I very briefly met him. My 2 uncles are still alive and I am thankful for their service for all 3 of them. It is so sad how many were treated when they got back cause many were drafted and you had no choice cause it was this or you wouldn't make it out alive and many are truly great people. I know a lot of veterans who served in all branches over there from Navy to ordinary infantry to even a good friend who was a sniper with the Marines. Though that war was pretty messed up, I don't hate the Americans who were there at all and I always tell them at least "Thank you for your service".
