Fortunate Youth is pure talent, the whole band. Too bad Gonzo left. I got the album of his new band, Beyond I Sight, and they are not bad but I prefer Fortunate Youth. In my musical opinion Fortunate Youth sounds more "mature", more solid than bands like Rebelution, The Green, etc. which I do enjoy too. I don't know if I'm explaining myself well, I'm not hating on other bands but when I listen to Rebelution I feel like they still need something more that I don't know what is, maybe experience or more musical skills, same feeling I got with Beyond I sight but hey, no one starts at the top, right? I know musicians leave groups all the time to do their own thing but it feels like Fortunate Youth lost a big part and they did since Gonzo's voice is amazing. I will miss him in songs like Sweet Love, the combination of voices of these 2 was perfect.

Not so sure honestly, I saw Rebelution yesterday in Amsterdam, and they showed every aspect of greatness, power and matureness on every front. Eric was there like a real powerful singer with a total solid band (no mistakes nowhere) and to sing like that, to play the guitar, and lead a crowd like he did.. was just pure leadership, and great matureness. It was a mind altering. it Inspired me as a musican/songwritter

Gonzo is in Beyond I Sight? I just thought they played with him. I have his 2 albums Rocksteady and Red and he released them as Gonzo. Beyond I Sight is credited in a few songs but I'm not sure if it is his band per say. Maybe those are just solo projects? Gonzo is technically in Tribal Seeds, I've seen them twice now and Gonzo was with them both times.
