I noticed that the body of the front shock absorber goes lower the bottom end of the knuckle. Is that normal for these set? Great video, thank you!

For this car it’s OK to go a fair bit lower than the bottom of the knuckle because it doesn’t have an axle in the way 👍

the fronts need 1/4 inch preload and the rears need an 1/8??

At 11:30 you said that we should torque the nuts on the LCA when youre at or near ride height. So, essentially, get the top of the coilover installed and torqued and then finger tighten the 4 nuts on the LCA and then torque them all at once? Or do you need to have the weight of the car on the coilovers and then torque the 4 nuts on the LCA?

To ensure that no bushings are damaged by binding, you will want to torque the 4 lower control arm bolts with the weight of the car on them, or as close to that as possible. I believe there is a spherical bearing in the knuckle at outermost pivot on the LCA, I understand that best practice is to torque at ride height
