Dual class shares lead to more corruption, lack of accountability, and more chances for abuse and loyalty to the ones that control voting stock. I think tenure voting is the next step forward which can make institutional investors happy and the founders by focusing on long term objectives. We have seen how worse dual class shares can get with Facebook, Google, and Snap wielding unfavorable powers and seeing the scandals take place at these firms which shareholders can't do anything about because they don't own the supervoting stock.
