I have always said that if they brought out Rebirth first, no one would have gone to Fortune's Keep when it was released afterwards. They are holding on to Rebirth because they also understand that is what everyone is going to play once it comes out.

I never really liked Fortune's Keep, but I cannot say why exactly. Too open ? can't really say. Rebirth is/was perfect for resurgence !

You can't have a consistent game on FK. The gameplay doesn't flow right, too many angles to attack from which is no fun with a high TTK game like COD. Rebirth, Ashika Island and Vondel all have limited angles of attack which keeps it predicable. FK you can be shot in the back from a million different places. I like it on solos but thats about it.

@JGOD completely agree, for me the worst thing right now is the queueing issue (at least on EU). Whenever i play with friends with a wider skill difference and rank diff we queue until >56ms, it says connecting and resets back to queue. This seems to only occur if there is a large skill gap within the group, it never happens when you queue alone (tried it with everyone queueing seperately, that worked immediately)

Ashika island and Rebirth Island are the only maps for Resurgence mode.

I think they should use the diagonal pad left button for putting on and taking off gas mask. Keep it stored in the gas mask slot. People can take it off and put it on whenever they want. Then it’s just a button and you don’t have to go into your inventory. You don’t have to do it for nads or tacs

Thats a great idea. Its a hassle in chaotic moments to have to go into your backpack and select/deselect during engagements in the end circles

As someone who just recently came back to cod I've been enjoying resurgence quite a bit but the matchmaking is annoying because i rarely get a full team lol.

Very true! If you are playing with randoms, I recommend searching for a team before you even search for a match.

I enjoy Fortunes Keep. I look forward to them adding Rebirth back. I hope they continue to build them out for Warzone/Resurgance and keep them in the game going forward across all of the new titles. The more of these medium sized/resurgance maps they have going forward, the better in my book.

i really liked vondel, it played like a more consistent rebirth island, like rebirth the players skill needed to increase quite a lot to win as the zone shrinks, but vondel i could keep a more casual skill level vs zone size, even when the player base is much sweatier now

Imma be honest, ever since Fortunes Keep dropped I've been actually enjoying the game. My only 2 problems are the occasional dev errors I get and the horrible connection I get with ranked matches. It takes me like 6 minutes to get a ranked match and even when I get one its always a 200ms ping EU lobby (I live in South Africa by the way). I feel like the matchmaking for ranked is just way too strict especially since it doesn't prioritise connection first.

Yes it is def a AR/SMG/shotty map only. One of my trio partners sucks at the game and loves sniping. He is already useless on Urzikstan now imagine how useless he is running around Fortunes Keep with a daggum sniper HAHA@@TheAmazighSoldier

The issue with vondel and ashika is that I feel its missing the essence of resurgence. I wasnt a big fan of fortune keeps on wz1 but i enjoy playing it now over ashika and vondel.

You should do a video on how matchmaking works in ranked. While I was platinum I would constantly run into crimson players and sometimes iridescent. Then I got curious and watched some streamers play that are in the top 250 and I would see them killing a lot platinums golds and diamonds. It doesn’t seem like your actually rank has much of an effect.

I only play resurgence. I cannot understand why there's no stats or leaderboard for resurgence mode, now they added it but only for ranked. I really liked keeping track of wins etc

I'm more interested in hearing the tips and advice given during gameplay. I find it helpful and entertaining. I think sometimes there is more room for advice on both unique and regular encounters that wouldn't have otherwise been witnessed outside of spectating.

But it sucks to not know exactly what happened, but for a week I got like less then 10 kills in br solos all week and I'm a 1.17 kd it was almost like their sbmm was glitched. Audio needs fixed. No parachute audio for opponents above. But then it's the opposite problem for walking enemies. Sometimes somebody will be 20 m away and it sounds like they're right next to you.

Why did they remove party search for ranked play.? Worked well on Al Maz as I sometimes have to solo queue and got a chance to party up with people of same skill level and comms before going into the game

Been grinding ranked, having a lot of fun but I can only imagine the fun I’d have if it was rebirth or even vondel, this map has an impossible rest loop; unless you instantly recall the team that killed you and win, you are not able to rest very well

They have balanced this map well. No crazy circle pulls, reasonable amounts of people in the final circle. Have to plan your rotations because outplay is limited from poi, which I like. Easter eggs are great! Happy to see them come back

I'd pretty much stopped playing WZ until Fortune's came back and am enjoying ranked, it's been great fun but I'm really just ticking over waiting on rebirth. I think resurgence is in an ok spot but I really wish they'd go back to the WZ1 resurgence timer triggers and get rid of all this, move 25 yards and knock timer off crap. The amount of times I get to circle 4 in ranked and there are still 12 teams up is insane and then it just becomes total chaos and pure luck who wins a lot of the time. One game yesterday we went into circle 6 and only one team had been wiped.

I never was a fan of Fortune's Keep because it's full of buildings. The reason why Rebirth was such a success is because the POI's were spaced out properly and camping is barely possible.

I feel for a resurgence map it has way too much verticality and power positions. I guess that makes sense with it being a ranked map, but as someone that likes to solo queue into trios/quads it makes fights so clunky. Definitely would rather rebirth.
