I wholeheartedly agree with this video. Fortune teller is so unbalanced right now, they shoulr just revert it or put it back to where it belongs (custom games)

Whoa the outro 🔥 🤩 But yeah I agree as always except you can't really determine ft vs avenger. And imo ft is just a role that just so happened to get added and now cannot get removed ...literally ft stays only for ruining rrv rolls and some bad cards for lm in sb that ruins evil game if taken!

I haven't played in a while but i thought Fortune Teller was balanced though maybe i misunderstood how the new changes work. 1- Does the act of picking a role to reveal as trigger that role to be reveales immediately. 2- Even after an evil revealed their role as fake, if the FT dies, will their true role be revealed? If the answer to those questions is yes then i have better idea which is what I thought FT was like. If Fortune Teller dies the night they give out cards, both players roles will be revealed immediately. If Fortune Teller dies after giving out cards and both cards aren't revealed, they get revealed immediately. Evils can choose a role to be revealed but it's separate from revealing themselves. (Meaning they can choose a role and not reveal themselves but they will be revealed as that role). Note: Only "end of night" kills will trigger the true reveal of FT so night immediate killer (Witch-Tree Marskmen, Arso-Tree) kills prevents FT from giving out cards. I think FT already works like this but just in case. This would reward predicting when you are going to die to get the best out of your abilities. FT can bait out killers though some killers can bypass that and kill them without consequences. If you fail, at leadt you are provable.

Bro finding balance with ft looks impossible, at first it was overpowered to the point of being removed, then it turned mostly useless and now it is weaker that the first version but still strong, plus, you can just play as a double loudmouth and use the “don’t reveal card if you are a villager, just kill me to confirm true villagers/find evils, if someone reveals the card, they are most likely evil trying to not be found when I die”. This stuff is hard 😩

My fortune teller rework idea and yes a rework not a buff nor a nerf bc the main prob of FT is the ability and self provability Fortune teller now has the ability to cast a "prophecy" on someone. When the person Who has a "prophecy" performs any night ability (Wolf killing, Doc protecting, arso dousing etc. ) u Will be able to give them a card at Day time (they wont be notified if they Got the card or not) and on the next night u Will get 3 roles on what the person Who has a card could be (always confirmed to have a good and bad role) after u give your second card u Will lose the ability to cast "prophecy" Idk how well this can work tho bc after writing this there are some issues "the FT can just ask what role the evil is and if it isnt in their card reveal theyre fake" Or what if theres like "mayor gunner or ww shaman" on the card what can the evil say to counterplay this? Idk but i feel like it Will be atleast easier to fakeclaim and mislynch than it was before

Future Botanist_4 here and and i gaslighted myself The interaction "mayor gunner ww shaman" cant even happens bc the person get the card HAS TO PERFORM A NIGHT ABILITY so that fixes it :D
