There’s no color in God’s Kingdom. The Head of the church is not the Pope but the Lord Jesus ... and He is the Word, not a black or a white man. Don’t trust this Vatican ... the leadership on the side of Francis. The Vatican leadership was infiltrated in the late eighties ... when Pope John Paul I “died “ in mysterious circumstances one month after he was crowned Pope. Love them if you will ... but trust ONLY the Lord Jesus. Even me don’t trust ... but reflect in front of the Lord on what I just told you. He will tell you off I’m right or wrong. But be sincere in front of Him. Jesus is Lord. God bless you. ✝️😶🙂

What a disastrous stroke to any earnest Christian mind and soul.

He doesn't speak for all Catholics, mind you. I suggest that you dig into the work of St. Oscar Romero, as well as that of Pope Leo XIII in "Rerum Novarum" and Pius XI in "Quadragesimo Anno," please. Furthermore, look into Dorothy Day and the Catholic Worker movement as well as folks like Thomas Merton and the Daniel Berrigan. Heck, read some of Pope Francis' recent encyclicals, particularly "Fratelli Tutti." I'm just learning about Peter Turkson, but I'm shocked that he would say something like that. Even figures considered "conservative" like Pope Benedict effectively support a Scandinavian-style of Social Democracy in terms of economics. This was very disheartening for me to hear as a Catholic, and I'm sure he's pandering, at least in part, to the "Fortune" crowd. It's terribly disappointing, but in no way reflective of Catholic Social Teaching.
