Isuzu was founded in 1916 and Toyota came in market in 1937. Toyota does not own Isuzu.Today also Isuzu makes better diesel engine than Toyota.Isuzu MuX has 4JJ1 series engine which is a non-failure engine and can do 8-9L kms easily..Not even a single MuX car has engine failure till date. I myself own MuX facelift 3.0L 4*4 and I know how much capable this car is and it is a better product than Fortuner in terms of reliability and off roading.Initial pickup of Isuzu helps the car in taking it out from any obstacle while off-roading.Only issue is Isuzu dint market this product well in India.It's a No.1 product in market like Australia and South Africa. If Isuzu brings latest model of MuX in India than it will definitely give tough fight to Fortuner.

the biggest fact is that hardly anyone drives their car for more than 2~3 lac km in india , and any car can do that subject to proper servce . hence we should be buying the most vfm car in any price range brand does not matters

India people most of people don’t have brain they will just say fortuner is better which ever suv of that segmemt you will keep with it. Isuzu is really powerful machine I had this car for 2-3 years it was a beast.
